RoHS Conformity


The directive RoHS (Restriction of (the use of certain) Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment) describes the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The scope of this Directive is limited to the usage in electrical and electronic equipment, and products used in other contexts are not covered by the requirements of this Directive.

MENTOR hereby declares that all MENTOR products offered and sold have been and are being produced in compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), as well as the extended directive 2015/863/EU (amendment of Annex II of Directive 2011/65/EU).


The RoHS Directive regulates the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in which the content of the following elements and compounds does not exceed the current maximum limits in the homogeneous material in the product:


  •  Lead
  •  Mercury
  •  Cadmiumn
  •  Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI)
  •  Brominated flame retardants (PBB, PBDE)
  •  Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP)
  •  Butylbenzylphthalate (BBP)
  •  Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
  •  Diisobutylphthalate (DIBP)
